The sound of Mexico is set to ignite football fans worldwide with the release of “Por Ella,” the second single from the Official FIFA World Cup 2026™ Album.
The track, a vibrant collaboration between iconic Mexican cumbia band Los Ángeles Azules and pop sensation Belinda, with production by multi-GRAMMY® Award-winner Tainy, dropped on Friday across all major streaming platforms.
“Por Ella” injects a powerful Mexican heartbeat into the global music project, blending contemporary pop with the rich, rhythmic essence of cumbia. This release follows the album’s first single, “Lighter,” and continues the rollout of a landmark, multi-chapter musical journey leading up to the biggest FIFA World Cup™ in history.
Belinda expressed her excitement, stating, “Being part of the official World Cup album is an enormous honour. ‘Por Ella’ combines the strength of our culture with the unique excitement that only the World Cup brings.”
Los Ángeles Azules added their pride in representing Mexico, commenting, “We are sure that every football-loving heart will dance and enjoy it as much as we did while creating it.”
Executive produced by Puerto Rican hitmaker Tainy, “Por Ella” is the first of several contributions he will make to the official album. This single further exemplifies the project’s aim to mirror the diversity, scale, and energy of the 48-team tournament, creating a cultural bridge between football and music. Fans can anticipate more singles reflecting a wide range of genres and artists in the coming weeks.
