David Ayuba, the U.S.-based husband of media personality Mayowa Lambe, has finally spoken out following the public row between his wife and her ex-partner, Roby Ekpo.

His comments come shortly after Mayowa’s legal team issued a serious warning to Roby, demanding a public apology and ₦100 million in damages for alleged defamation.

On Thursday, David Ayuba took to social media to express his support for his wife. In a series of posts, he suggested that the truth would eventually come to light.

“Falsehood may travel fast, but truth arrives with consequences,” Ayuba wrote. He added that he owes the public no explanations and remains focused on his family.

The drama began after Roby Ekpo appeared on a popular podcast where he made several claims about his past relationship with Mayowa. He accused her of being unfaithful and deceptive during their time together. He also spoke about their private life, claiming they had different expectations when it came to intimacy.

However, Mayowa’s lawyers have denied these claims. They stated that there was no legal marriage between her and Roby at the time of her new union. The legal letter demanded that Roby stop making “false and damaging” statements immediately.

Mayowa and David Ayuba reportedly tied the knot in Texas, United States, a move that surprised many fans who were unaware she had moved on from Roby.

As the legal battle begins, Roby Ekpo has yet to respond to the ₦100 million lawsuit officially.
