Grammy-nominated Nigerian singer, Asake, has announced that his fourth studio album, titled ‘M$NEY’, will be released on May 1.
The singer shared the news on social media, posting a video of the making of a marble statue in his likeness. Iraqi-Dutch sculptor Athar Jabar created the artwork.
The announcement has already caused a lot of excitement among fans who have been waiting for new music from the Afrobeats star.
The upcoming album will feature his recent songs, including ‘Why Love’, ‘Badman Gangster’, and ‘Worship’, a collaboration with the popular DJ Snake. This project follows a joint EP he released with Wizkid earlier this year.
Asake has become one of Nigeria’s most successful artistes since rising to fame in 2020. This will be his fourth album in five years, following his previous works like ‘Mr Money With The Vibes’, ‘Work of Art’, and ‘Lungu Boy’.
Last year, the singer was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best African Music Performance, but the award went to Tems. With the release of ‘M$NEY’, fans are eager to see if Asake will continue his streak of chart-topping hits.
