MultiChoice Nigeria has officially announced the return of Big Brother Naija for its 11th season, with auditions set to begin soon.
The announcement was made on Tuesday via the show’s official Instagram page, where organisers teased fans with the message: “Biggie is calling. Are you ready to answer? Auditions soon.”
Although excitement is already building among fans, MultiChoice has yet to disclose details regarding audition dates, venues or the official premiere date for the new season. It also remains unclear whether this year’s selection process will be fully physical, virtual or a combination of both.
For the 2025 edition, organisers adopted a hybrid audition format, beginning with online applications, followed by physical screenings in Lagos, Abuja and Enugu. The virtual audition system, first introduced in 2019, was designed to give aspiring contestants from different locations easier access to the process.
Last season, Opeyemi Ayanwale, popularly known as Imisi, emerged as the winner after defeating 28 housemates to claim the grand prize, which included cash and an SUV.
