Kwara Gov’s Spokesman, Rafiu Ajakaye Joins Reps Race

The former chief press secretary to Kwara State governor, Rafiu Ajakaye has declared his intention to contest the House of Representatives seat for Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun Federal Constituency on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Ajakaye announced his ambition on Monday in a video message posted on his official social media handles.

In the broadcast, he appealed to APC leaders, members, and stakeholders across the constituency to support his bid.

He said the decision to run was reached after “extensive consultations with party leaders and stakeholders across the constituency and beyond.”

“I greet all our fathers and mothers. I also greet all the elders and leaders of the APC, especially in Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun Federal Constituency,” Ajakaye said in the video.
