President of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, Alhaji Bello Abdullahi Bodejo, has pledged to mobilise massive support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election, assuring that members of the association across the country would rally behind the President’s re-election bid.
Alhaji Bodejo gave the assurance on Thursday during a visit to the All Progressives Congress (APC) secretariat in Jalingo, Taraba State, where he met with party executives and his supporters.
The Miyetti Allah leader said the association remained committed to supporting Tinubu’s administration and strengthening the APC ahead of the next general election.
According to him, the group has the grassroots network and political structure required to mobilise voters across communities in support of the President.
“We are committed to mobilising support massively for President Bola Tinubu in 2027. We will work with everyone to ensure that the APC grows stronger, particularly in Taraba Central and across the country,” Alhaji Bodejo stated.
He said m, the association would continue to promote unity and political participation among its members while backing policies aimed at national development and stability.
Alhaji Bodejo, who also expressed interest in the Taraba Central Senatorial seat, said he understood the challenges confronting the people of the zone and was prepared to offer effective representation if elected.
He further assured party members that he would abide by the rules guiding the APC primary process and pursue his ambition peacefully and democratically.
Responding, Taraba State APC chairman, Alhaji Abubakar Bawa, assured all aspirants of a level playing field during the party primaries.
Alhaji Bawa said the party leadership would ensure a transparent, free and credible process in line with the APC constitution and the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
“We will provide equal opportunity for all aspirants. The party will operate strictly in accordance with its rules, guidelines, and constitution. Nobody will be shortchanged,” he said.
The APC chairman also cautioned aspirants and their supporters against bitterness, blackmail and actions capable of overheating the political atmosphere in the state.
He urged party stakeholders to embrace unity and issue-based campaigns as political activities begin to gather momentum ahead of the 2027 elections.
