APC Screens 106 Aspirants For State Assembly Primaries In Imo

The Imo State chapter of the All Progressive Congress (APC) has screened a total of 106 aspirants for the State Assembly elections.

Imo State has 27 local government areas which are called constituencies in the State Assembly.

Imo APC spokesperson, Dr Jones Onwuasoanya told Leadership that the screening committee headed by Chief Judith Enanutor screened a total of 106 aspirants jostling to win the ticket to represent their state constituencies.

He however called on the aspirants to wait for the published list of cleared aspirants which will be published on Wednesday, May 13th.

Onwuasoanya said ” The list of qualified aspirants will be published on Wednesday. As at now, there is no list of qualified or disqualified aspirants. 13th is the scheduled date for publication of names of qualified aspirants. They have to wait until the official list is released. The correct number of House of Assembly aspirants is 106″.
