Heather Locklear, Richie Sambora Put On United Front At Daughter’s Wedding

It was an emotional family reunion for Heather Locklear and Richie Sambora as the former couple came together to celebrate their daughter, Ava Sambora, on her wedding day.

Ava tied the knot with investment associate Tyler Farrar during a beautiful outdoor ceremony held at the Rosewood Miramar Beach on Saturday.

Locklear and Sambora proudly walked their daughter down the aisle together, showing a united front years after their divorce.

For the special occasion, Ava stunned in a strapless lace wedding gown paired with a flowing veil and a half-up, half-down hairstyle. Locklear looked elegant in a high-neck black gown, while Sambora opted for a classic black tuxedo.

The actress was accompanied by her partner, Lorenzo Lamas, who sat beside her in the front row during the ceremony.

Locklear and the former Bon Jovi guitarist were married from 1994 until their divorce in 2007. Despite their highly publicised split, the former couple maintained a cordial relationship while co-parenting their only child.

Speaking in an earlier interview with PEOPLE, Sambora reflected on his bond with Locklear after their separation.

“We’re better friends now than ever. If you don’t get along, you are messing the kid up. That’s what happens.” He also added, “So you have to put that before whatever s—— is going on. Communication has got to come first. There’s a cooling-off period, obviously — it takes time. It was almost 10 years ago, though. So we’re fine.”

Locklear and Sambora have reportedly been supportive of Ava and Farrar’s relationship since the couple met during their college years at Loyola Marymount University.

The newlyweds got engaged in February 2024, while Ava recently celebrated her bridal shower alongside her mother earlier this month.
