2027: Bichi Community Shows Massive Support For APC – Gov Yusuf

Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has declared that the people of Bichi Federal Constituency have demonstrated an exemplary show of loyalty and massive support for the All Progressives Congress (APC), describing it as a strong signal ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The governor made the remark while throwing his weight behind the re-election bid of the member representing Bichi Federal Constituency, Hon. Abubakar Kabir Abubakar, popularly known as Abba Bichi, during an APC affirmation exercise held in the area.

In a statement issued by his spokesperson, Sunusi Bature, the governor said the overwhelming turnout and coordination witnessed at the event were unmatched, noting that the exercise stood out nationwide in terms of mobilisation and unity within the party.

Yusuf commended Abba Bichi for what he described as effective representation and impactful constituency projects since assuming office in 2023. He noted that the lawmaker’s contributions, particularly in youth empowerment and community development, have significantly improved the welfare of constituents.

“I want to commend Hon. Abubakar Kabir Abubakar for his quality representation. Since 2023, I have prayed for the opportunity to work closely with him, and today we are collaborating for the development of Bichi and Kano State,” the governor stated.

The governor urged residents of the constituency to sustain their support for the APC and the lawmaker ahead of the next general elections, stressing that continuity would further accelerate development.

The event attracted key party stakeholders, including representatives of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, federal lawmakers and other party officials, underscoring its political significance within the state and beyond.
