Moby Slams Trump Administration, Calls Current U.S. Climate ‘Dark Times’

Electronic music veteran Moby has once again voiced his frustration with the administration of Donald Trump, describing the current state of the United States as deeply troubling.

In a social media post, the artist criticised the government, claiming the country was being “run into the ground” by an incompetent and corrupt administration.

“The U.S. is being run into the ground by a staggeringly incompetent and corrupt administration,” Moby wrote. “Unbelievably dark dark times.”

The musician expanded on his views in a video message, revealing that many of his friends living outside the United States have questioned him about the nation’s political direction.

According to Moby, Americans themselves are equally bewildered by the situation.

“So a lot of my friends who live outside the United States keep asking me, ‘What the hell is going on in the United States?’ And the truth is, we don’t know,” he said. “The United States is being run by the most corrupt, evil, incompetent administration. And nobody knows what’s going on. It’s dark, dark times in the U.S.”

Moby joins a growing number of entertainers who have publicly criticised Trump and the MAGA movement, including Bruce Springsteen, Jack White, Eminem and Billie Eilish.
