One of the most symbolic statements is “whatever we make out of lives is up to us.” The truth is, we are responsible for the outcome of our lives.
Whatever we choose to do deserves our best shot, and should never be bothered about whether we failed or not. Nancy Umeh, a Nigerian professional chef, public health consultant and registered nurse, is a different breed of womanhood and professionalism; two major things that separate her from the rest.
It’s rare to find a working mum, health professional and entrepreneur who still finds time to give so much invaluable health-related advice to millions of her fans and followers across the world.
Nancy Umeh is dedicated to sharing healthy family recipes on YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. Her videos have helped hundreds of families stay away from picky eating, prevent and cure avoidable illnesses by sharing tips on healthy and safe cooking.
One of the things that has endeared many to her is the practicability of her recipes. Her kitchen is her classroom, while her fitness is the inspiration strong enough for many to spark a revolution in their own lifestyles.
The Delta State-born exercise addict is the founder of Radiance Cookware, a non-toxic cast iron cookware company in Nigeria. She also serves as co-founder of Ciumcurrent Nigeria, Nigeria’s leading warehousing, supermarket and shop fitting company.
Nancy Umeh also has a book loaded with safe recipes for healthy family diet downloadable on her Instagram bio.
Her personal experiences have also motivated her to never cease to preach the message of healthy living and wholeness. In one of the videos she uploaded, NancybUmeh declared: that, “I will continue to preach about good food, sleep, exercise and safe cookware, because really…they saved my life”.
For the benefit of others, the mother-of-two has used her qualitative educational background to the benefit of humanity.
Nancy Umeh graduated with a Masters of Science Degree in Public Health from the University of Sunderland, United Kingdom, in 2013, before which she was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with first class honours from the University of Sunderland, United Kingdom, in 2012.
Before proceeding further knowledge abroad, Nancy Umeh had graduated top of her class at the School of Nursing, Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), where she acquired her associate degree in Nursing in 2009.
