Morris Monye, a prominent Nigerian entrepreneur, fintech executive, and political strategist, has called out a Nigerian airline for allegedly issuing him and other passengers handwritten tickets.
He posted a video on X showing the boarding pass and wrote;
‘’What’s going on with our aviation
I was on an early morning flight with United Nigeria, and I (along with many other passengers) was issued a handwritten ticket.
If I didn’t video it, you probably will not believe me. It’s concerning for me.”
Morris was flying from Lagos to Anambra via the domestic wing of the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, MMIA.
He said other passengers were surprised to be issued handwritten tickets instead of the usual printed boarding passes used by airlines. He said the situation caused confusion among travellers and raised concerns about the airline’s booking and check-in procedures.
