American singer and dancer, Cassie Ventura, has hit back at claims from former model Edmond Laurent, who alleges that she and Sean Combs drugged him during so-called “freak-offs”.

According to documents obtained by TMZ, Ventura is asking the court to dismiss Laurent’s lawsuit. She says his claims are untrue and harmful, and argues that the case is not solid.

Ventura also points to earlier messages in which Laurent allegedly expressed support after she spoke publicly in 2023 about abuse linked to Combs.

She claims he later changed his stance after she settled a separate lawsuit with Combs for $20 million.

Laurent, who has appeared in music videos for artists including Britney Spears and Lil’ Kim, alleges sexual assault and claims he was drugged with substances including Rohypnol and ketamine.

Ventura, however, maintains she was also under the influence during the events and says the evidence suggests she was not acting of her own free will.
