Firms Form Joint Venture To Serve Nigeria, West Africa

CEVA Logistics, a global leader in third-party logistics (3PL), and EFL Africa, a leading logistics company in Nigeria, have announced the formation of a joint venture, CEVA EFL Limited, to strengthen logistics operations and expand market reach across Nigeria and West Africa.

In a statement, the companies said the partnership represents a significant milestone in their shared ambition to deepen their footprint in key global markets while delivering enhanced logistics solutions to customers across the region.

Speaking on the development, Sylvain Kluba, Vice President of Finance, India, Middle East and Africa (IMEA) at CEVA Logistics, described the joint venture as a strategic move to improve connectivity and unlock opportunities in Nigeria and West Africa.

“This joint venture represents a bold step forward in our commitment to connecting Nigeria and West Africa to the world. By combining CEVA’s global reach and logistics expertise with EFL’s deep local knowledge and infrastructure, CEVA EFL is uniquely positioned to deliver seamless and reliable solutions to our customers. Together, we are creating a logistics ecosystem that drives growth and unlocks new opportunities in this high-potential market,” Kluba said.

Also speaking, Yemi Adunola, Chief Executive Officer of EFL Africa, said the collaboration reflects the companies’ commitment to transforming the logistics landscape in the region.“We are thrilled to partner with CEVA Logistics to launch CEVA EFL. This collaboration underscores our shared vision of transforming logistics in Nigeria and West Africa. By leveraging our combined strengths, we are not only addressing the challenges of this complex market but also creating value for our customers through efficient, integrated and customer-focused solutions. CEVA EFL is a testament to our commitment to driving progress and fostering economic growth in the region,” Adunola stated.
