Nigerian actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday has responded to critics following her comments about Baba Ijesha and Luminee’s reported private marriage.

In a video shared on Snapchat, the actress said none of her former partners had ended a relationship with her because she was the main provider.

She maintained that she is usually the one who walks away from relationships when she chooses to. For that reason, she said criticism over her dating history does not affect her.

Nkechi also defended her right to comment on trending issues online. She added that her views reflect what many people think but are unwilling to say publicly.

She said:

“No man I’ve dated has ever left me. How can they leave me, who was the breadwinner? I am the one who leaves men when I am tired, so don’t think you can insult me by saying I change men like clothes. I am allowed to give my two cents on issues on social media”.
