GANKCO Energy Services Limited has donated medical equipment and essential supplies to the Paediatric Unit of Garki Hospital as part of its annual corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative to improve healthcare services for children.

The indigenous oil and gas company also distributed beverages and other amenities to children receiving treatment at the hospital during the outreach held in Abuja.

At the event, the chief operating officer of GANKCO, Naomi Peters, said the company remains committed to supporting vulnerable communities and strengthening healthcare delivery for children.

She explained that the firm’s 2026 CSR intervention focused on children’s healthcare, stressing that every child deserves access to quality medical care, comfort and hope while undergoing treatment.

Peters said, “As an organisation, we recognise the importance of supporting healthcare institutions that provide critical services to children and families.

“Through this initiative, we hope to make a meaningful contribution to improving the healthcare experience for young patients and supporting the dedicated professionals who care for them.”

The donated items included stadiometers, vein finders, weighing scales, blood pressure cuffs, beddings and other medical supplies required for effective service delivery in the paediatric unit.

According to the company, the equipment will enhance patient care, improve operational efficiency and support healthcare workers in delivering quality medical services.

Receiving the items on behalf of the hospital, the Clinical Director, Chimaobi C. Onyejelam, and the Head of the Paediatric Unit, Collins Enyinnaya, commended the company for the intervention.

They described the donation as timely and significant, noting that it would strengthen the hospital’s capacity to provide quality healthcare services for children.

The hospital management also praised GANKCO Energy Services Limited for demonstrating corporate responsibility beyond business operations and expressed optimism about future partnerships aimed at improving healthcare and community development.
