JUST-IN: Many Feared Trapped As 3-storey Building Collapses In Lagos

A three-storey building has collapsed in the Alakija area of Lagos State, with several people feared trapped beneath the rubble on Thursday morning.

According to PunchOnline, the incident occurred at about 11:40 a.m., although the exact number of persons trapped could not be immediately ascertained.

As of the time of filing this report, emergency responders and rescue personnel were yet to arrive at the scene, while anxious residents and bystanders gathered around the collapsed structure awaiting intervention.

Details regarding possible casualties or the cause of the collapse were not immediately available.
