The controversy started after Badmus accused the makeup artist of failing to show up for a booked appointment. The actress expressed her frustration on social media, where she also shared the makeup artist’s phone number and encouraged followers to call her out.

The makeup artist later defended herself, explaining that the appointment had not been confirmed because no advance payment was made. She said her policy requires payment before bookings are secured and added that she only spoke publicly after receiving numerous threats online.

In a video posted on Snapchat, Funke confronted Badmus over the incident, reminding her that she had repeatedly advised her against engaging in online confrontations.
