Governor Dikko Umaru Radda, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to building a highly skilled workforce in Katsina State’s education sector through continuous capacity development and strategic international partnerships aimed at improving service delivery and driving sustainable reforms.
The governor made the pledge after a second Katsina State delegation participated in a high-level Participatory Leadership and Good Governance programme in Cairo, Egypt, under the Transforming Education System at State Level (TESS) Project.
Radda described the training as a strategic investment in human capital, noting that exposing education officials to global best practices would strengthen institutions, promote transparency and accountability, and improve the implementation of education programmes across the state.
“Our administration remains committed to building the capacity of officials implementing critical education programmes. Exposure to global best practices strengthens institutions, promotes accountability, and enhances service delivery for the benefit of our people,” the governor said.
He added that his administration would sustain investments in capacity building to equip education stakeholders with the knowledge, skills and practical experience needed to deliver lasting reforms across the sector.
According to him, developing a competent and professional workforce remains central to achieving quality education and fulfilling the aspirations of future generations in Katsina State.
