The Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Prof. Ali Pate, has said about 45 million Nigerians are receiving healthcare services across the nation’s healthcare facilities quarterly under the administration of President Bola Tinubu.

The minister explained that the feat is coming under the efforts of the federal government in collaboration with states in the drive to improve primary health care, invest in infrastructure, and equip them, provide commodities, build human resources and provide ambulances so that people would get services.

The minister spoke at the flag off of the distribution of federal government intervention in comprehensive emergency obstetric and newborn care (CEmONC) equipment provision, held at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital (ATBUTH) in Bauchi during the weekend.

He said, “under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, more than 45 million Nigerians are getting services all over the country every quarter in visits. It is because of these efforts that we are collectively doing together.

“We in Bauchi state, of course, we have been privileged, the president’s efforts in Bauchi have been much more than what you will see in many other places. So, on behalf of all of us here, I want to thank President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his great consideration of Bauchi State.”

Prof Pate further stated that since the inception of the Tinubu’s administration, Bauchi state has been enjoying a lot of progress because of his interest to support the state.
