TCN, Union Agree to Prioritise Staff Welfare, Industrial Harmony

The Management of the Transmission Company of Nigeria, TCN, has urged the Executive members of the National Union of Electricity Employees, NUEE, TCN Corporate Headquarters Chapter, to sustain constructive engagement in fostering unity and improving the overall welfare of staff within the company.

The charge was given by Mrs. Abiodun Afolabi-Fadahunsi, Executive Director, Human Resources and Corporate Services, while delivering the opening address at the Second Quarter Joint Consultative Meeting between management and the NUEE Corporate Headquarters Chapter on Thursday, 9th July 2026, in Abuja.

According to her, the statutory aim of the meeting is to provide a platform for management and the union to discuss staff-related issues and seek practical solutions that will foster a motivated and productive workforce.

Speaking on behalf of the Chairman of the Chapter, the Vice Chairman, Comrade Salisu Abdulahi, reaffirmed the union’s commitment to promoting staff welfare and industrial harmony.
