‎Afrobeat singer Davido has opened up about his biggest fear and also reflected on the football icon, Cristiano Ronaldo’s World Cup performance.

‎In a recent interview, he said he constantly prays for the wisdom to know when it’s time to step away from music.

‎‎To further buttress his point, he spoke about Ronaldo, whom he described as his good friend, noting that despite everything the Portuguese legend has achieved, he still faced criticism during the World Cup.

‎Davido added that he doesn’t want to stay in the game for too long and risk ruining his reputation.

‎‎“My biggest fear is not knowing when to quit music. Look at Ronaldo; he’s my good friend, by the way. After everything he’s done for football, they still laughed at him during the World Cup. I pray to God every day to show me the right time to pack it up, so that I don’t use one small thing to spoil it”.

‎Elsewhere in the interview, he expressed a desire to build a centre where people who were once popular and famous can receive therapy.

‎“If there’s one thing I could build, I’ll build a centre for people who have been popular and very successful before them to have therapy”.

‎‎In an earlier interview, he announced plans to begin a Master’s degree in Political Science at a university in the UK. The Babcock University graduate said he would be putting music on hold and wouldn’t drop an album till he was done.

‎Over the years, Davido has proven himself to be one of the greatest of his time. He has had several successful albums and shows that pulled in thousands of fans.

‎The music star had bragged as he reflected on his musical journey. In a tweet, he said that since he entered the game, nobody has had peace, and admitted that he loved that effect.

‎Also, last year, the Grammy nominee noted how people always come together to discredit him. However, God was working overtime for him.
