Popular Nigerian comedian, actor and content creator, Michael Sani Amanesi, better known as MC Lively, is set to marry his fiancée, Dumebi James.
The entertainer announced the engagement on social media alongside a series of pre-wedding photographs featuring the couple ahead of their upcoming nuptials.
MC Lively rose to prominence through his viral comedy skits featuring the character “Barrister Mike,” which often satirised graduate unemployment and everyday experiences in Nigeria.
The 33-year-old entertainer is a trained lawyer and graduated with a law degree from Obafemi Awolowo University before being called to the Nigerian Bar in 2016.
He later transitioned fully into the creative industry and expanded his career beyond online comedy into acting.
MC Lively has featured in several Nollywood productions, including Fate of Alakada, Seven and a Half Dates and Breaded Life.
Following the announcement, colleagues, fans and well-wishers have congratulated the entertainer and his fiancée as they prepare for their wedding celebrations.
