Customs Release Final Successful Candidates For 2024/2025 Recruitment

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has the released of the final list of successful candidates for its 2024/2025 recruitment exercise into the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Customs II (ASC II), marking the commencement of the final phase of the recruitment process.

In a statement issued on Monday by the National Public Relations Officer of the Service, Deputy Comptroller of Customs Abdullahi Maiwada, successful applicants were advised to visit the official NCS website and selected national newspapers to confirm their status and obtain information on the next stage of the exercise.

According to the statement, candidates who made the final list will also receive notifications through their registered email addresses and SMS, detailing the procedures required to complete the recruitment process.

The Service stated that successful candidates are expected to log on to the recruitment portal using their National Identification Number (NIN) or registered email address to upload a valid Medical Certificate of Fitness obtained from a government-recognised hospital.

“The Service wishes to inform all successful candidates that the portal link for the upload of Medical Certificates of Fitness will be activated on Wednesday, 29 July 2026. Candidates are required to complete the upload process within one week from the date of activation of the portal,” the statement said.

The NCS also directed successful candidates to update their current state of residence on the portal and formally accept the provisional offer of appointment by clicking the “Accept Offer” button.

“Thereafter, successful candidates should await the issuance of their Trainee Identification Number, which will be communicated within one week. Further details regarding documentation and physical screening, including dates, venues and requirements, will be communicated through official channels,” the statement added.

The Service warned that strict compliance with all outlined procedures and timelines is mandatory, stressing that failure to meet any of the requirements could lead to disqualification.

“All successful candidates are advised to strictly comply with the outlined instructions and complete each stage within the stipulated timelines. Failure to comply with any of the requirements or timelines may result in disqualification from the recruitment process and forfeiture of the provisional offer of appointment,” it stated.

Congratulating the successful applicants on behalf of the Nigeria Customs Service Board, the Comptroller-General of Customs expressed optimism that the new recruits would uphold the values of the Service.
