Tyla Announces Lagos Concert as Part of First-Ever Headline World Tour

South African music star Tyla is bringing her highly anticipated A*POP World Tour to Lagos, with the Nigerian stop scheduled for December 22 at a venue yet to be announced.

The Lagos concert forms part of the singer’s first full headline global tour, a 34-date run supporting her sophomore album, APOP*, which was released on July 24. Announced on Monday and presented by Live Nation, the tour marks Tyla’s biggest international outing to date, spanning Europe, North America and Africa.

The tour kicks off in Paris on October 12 before travelling through major European cities including Amsterdam, London, Glasgow, Manchester, Brussels, Berlin, Stockholm, Oslo and Copenhagen. It then heads to North America from November 12, with performances in cities such as Sacramento, San Francisco, Vancouver, Chicago, Boston, New York, Houston, Los Angeles and Las Vegas.

Lagos will be the first African stop on the tour, ahead of Cape Town on January 4, 2027, and Johannesburg on January 9, bringing the global trek to a close on home soil.

Fans can access artist presale tickets from Wednesday, July 29, while general ticket sales begin on Friday, July 31 at 10 a.m. local time. Additional ticket details and tour information are available on Tyla’s official website.

Born Tyla Laura Seethal in Johannesburg, the singer shot to international fame in 2023 with her breakout hit Water, which helped introduce amapiano-inspired music to a wider global audience.
