Saudi Pro League giants Al Hilal have reportedly entered the race to sign Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen as they consider replacing former Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema.
Osimhen has attracted renewed interest following his impressive spell at Galatasaray, where he has scored 59 goals and provided 16 assists in 74 appearances across all competitions.
According to Sky Sport Switzerland, Al Hilal are closely monitoring the Super Eagles striker and are preparing to pursue a deal for his services.
Galatasaray are reportedly open to allowing Osimhen to leave, with the Turkish champions said to value the striker at around €65 million.
Al Hilal see the 27-year-old as a potential replacement for Benzema as they seek to create space in their squad for another high-profile forward.
However, any potential move will depend largely on Osimhen’s willingness to continue his career in Saudi Arabia.
The Nigerian striker’s future has been the subject of intense speculation, with clubs in Europe and beyond reportedly monitoring his situation.
With the new season approaching, Osimhen will be keen to resolve his future and maintain the impressive form that has made him one of the most sought-after forwards in world football.
