Ikoyi Club Hosts Zenith Bank Team Tennis Tournament

A total of 64 players will compete for honours as the Zenith Bank 2026 Team Tennis Tournament serves off on Monday (today) at Ikoyi Club 1938 in Lagos.

The tournament is being organised by Ikoyi Club in partnership with Zenith Bank Plc and will run until 21 August at the club’s Tennis Section.

The 64 players will be divided into eight teams, with each side expected to battle for supremacy in what promises to be a highly competitive tournament.

Chairman of the Tennis Section, Victor Onyenkpa, assured participants and members of the club of an exciting week of top-quality tennis.

Onyenkpa said the tournament would provide members with the opportunity to enjoy entertaining and competitive matches throughout the event.

“We are looking forward to a very exciting and interesting tournament. Our members will be treated to some fantastic matches during the week,” he said.

The draw for the tournament was conducted at the weekend at the Tennis Section of Ikoyi Club 1938, setting the stage for the competition.

The event is expected to further strengthen the partnership between Ikoyi Club and Zenith Bank while providing a platform for tennis enthusiasts to showcase their skills and enjoy competitive action.
