Fire Erupts At SPAR Calabar Mall After Reported Explosion

A fire broke out at the SPAR Calabar Mall in Cross River State this morning, Saturday, August 22, 2026, with the incident reportedly following an explosion at the shopping complex.

The blaze sent thick smoke into the air and caused panic among people around the mall as efforts were made to bring it under control.
