The burial rites of the Nollywood veteran Taiwo Hassan popularly known as Ogogo, has begun as the community of Ilaro, Ogun State has been besieged by sympathisers, fans, family and colleagues of the late actor.
Pictures of his close associates, Yinka Quadri, Prince Jide Kosoko, Ireti Osayemi and others were seen entering the home of Taiwo Hassan.
An Islamic Cleric also spoke in a video given his message to the people at the burial.
The body of the actor wrapped in white clothing was carried in adherence to Islamic burial rites.
Ogogo died yesterday, Sunday, August 23, 2026 after a battle to scourge of cancer which was set to be in critical stage 4.
The actor will be sorely missed in the movie industry.
