All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders in Suru local government area of Kebbi State under the leadership of the former commissioner for Basic Education, Alhaji Muhammad Ruwa Dakingari, have converged on Dakingari and strategised on how best Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State will obtain massive votes from the area in 2027.

The special adviser on Revenue Generation to the Governor, Alhaji Muhammad Arzika Dan’ Ato, disclosed this to journalists at his residence yesterday in Birnin Kebbi.
He said the APC stakeholders in the area at the meeting consist of 50 members from each of the 11 wards.

According to him, the stakeholders usually hold such gatherings whenever elections drew nearer and are doing it for Governor Idris to secure the highest number of votes from the area next year.

“Our reasons are clear, Kauran Gwandu has done well in Kebbi, most especially in Suru local government area, where a lot of people are motivated and empowered, ” Dan’Ato said.

So, the governor has paid his dues to the people of Kebbi and the Suru local government.
Now, it is our turn to pay him back with multiple votes come 2027,” the governor’s aide added.

He also made it clear that the 2027 general elections will be conducted in the state in peace, without any threat of banditry.
