The people of Kwara State have been urged to reciprocate the kind gestures of President Muhammadu Buhari by trooping out en masse to accord him and the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu a rousing reception on Tuesday.

Kwara State coordinator for Progressive Solidarity for Asiwaju (PSA) and member, Special Media Projects/New Media for Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, Alh Isiaka Nurudeen Akinlanso, made the call during an interaction session with journalists in Ilorin.

Buhari will lead the APC presidential rally in Ilorin, Kwara State on Tuesday.

Akinlanso noted that the APC federal government led by President Buhari had done so much for Kwara State to deserve the continued support of the people of the state.

He noted that President Buhari appointed two ministers from the state because of his love for Kwarans.

“And recently the president has approved the establishment of two federal institutions for Kwara State- the neuropsychiatric hospital, Budo- Egba and Federal College of Education,Afon. These institutions will not only provide thousands of direct and indirect jobs for our people, but will also improve the socio-economic development of not only their host communities but the entire state,” Akinlanso stated.

The APC stalwart expressed delight that the APC administration in the state led by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq is also spreading dividends of democracy across the length and breadth of the state.

He noted with satisfaction the robust education, health, water, human capital development and poverty alleviation programmes of the AbdulRazaq’s administration.

“ Of special note is the many road projects going on across the three senatorial districts of Kwara State. By the time the road projects, especially the ones in Ilorin are completed, the state capital would become a modern city which will further attract investors into the state,” he added.

Akinlanso said arrangements have been concluded for a hitch- free and colourful APC presidential rally in Ilorin on Tuesday.

He said Kwarans are in high spirit to receive the APC team because of the realisation of the dividends of democracy that the APC government at the federal and state levels have bequeathed to the state.

He said Tinubu remains the only presidential candidate that can move the country forward after President Buhari’s eventful tenure.

“ Given his vast administrative experience and track records of achievements as a two- term governor of Lagos State, the APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu stands out among others candidates seeking to succeed President Buhari,” Akinlanso added.

He hailed the director of Special Media Projects for Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, Chief Fani Kayode for his commitment towards ensuring the emergence of Tinubu as Nigeria’s next president.
