The provost of the college, Dr Philip Ntoh stated this while speaking to newsmen in his office at the college in Arochukwu local government area of the state.

Ntoh further said the programme is also in line with the situation in the country where the need for the people to engage in multiple streams of income has become necessary.

He explained that under his over seven years leadership of the college, it has achieved huge successes in infrastructure develoment, reduction of salary arrears, and staff development.

However, he listed decline in student registration as one of his drawbacks as a conseqent of the federal government’s upgrading of minimum teaching qualification above National Certificate of Education.
