Celine Dion gave fans an unexpected post-concert moment in Paris when she stepped outside her hotel and joined a crowd singing one of her biggest French-language hits.

The singer climbed onto the bonnet of a car barefoot on Friday, September 18, as fans gathered outside following the third night of her 26-show residency at Plenitude Arena in Nanterre.

Footage shared online showed Dion enthusiastically leading the sing-along to “Pour Que Tu M’aimes Encore”, her 1995 hit from the album D’eux.

The 58-year-old singer appeared to relish the spontaneous interaction, conducting the crowd with her arms before clapping along, rolling playfully on the car, and later standing up to form a heart with her hands.

Security personnel surrounded Dion as she interacted with the fans, who remained gathered around her while giving her room.

She was dressed casually after the performance in loose trousers, a simple top and a bomber jacket.

The emotional encounter comes as Dion continues her return to live performance following several years away from the stage after being diagnosed with stiff-person syndrome.

She opened her Paris residency on September 12, marking her return to regular performances and prompting an emotional response from the singer, who was seen crying tears of joy during the opening night.

The residency continued on Saturday, September 19, with further performances scheduled through November. Dion is also due to return to the venue for another 10 shows in May.
