APC Presidential Campaign Council Meets Ulama In Kano

All Progressives Congress (APC)Presidential Campaign Council director-general, Senator AbdulAziz Yari, has said the council has adopted town hall meetings with Nigerians and religious leaders as first moves to unveil President Bola Tinubu’s second term campaign.

While in Kano yesterday to meet with the African leader of the Qadiriyya sect, Sheikh Qaribullah Nasiru Kabara at his house, Yari said they gave priority to hearing from Nigerians directly through the adoption of town hall engagements as their first module.

” We are aware that many Nigerians are eager to hear from us, for this reason, rather than commencing holistically campaign rallies, we choose to respect the citizens and meet them personally in town hall meetings,” he said.

According to Yari, this will give them real insight of the feelings and needs of Nigerians and find solutions to them.

“We are in Kano to seek the blessings and spiritual guidance of the Sheiks. We were in Bauchi, Jos, Kaduna and now Kano, we met with Izala, Tijjaniyya and now we are meeting with the Qadiriyya sect, because we believe Allah’s guidance in everything is the first thing one will require,” he said.

On the blue prints of the campaigns, Yari reminded that Nigeria economy was going in a reverse gear, with prices skyrocketing on daily basis, while Dollar was going up non stop.

“However, with the efforts of the Government of President Ahmad Bola Tinubu, today prices have truly stabilize, while Dollar is not only available but it’s exchange rate is no longer moving up in a crazy manner,” he said.

The Director General Senator AbdulAziz Yari, promised that with the way things are going with the economy, prices of things are stabilizing, and dollar rates are no longer going up, promising that Nigerians will soon begin to enjoy the real economic blueprint of the government.

He also reminded that, President Tinubu, has adopted continuity in government style, because all the projects he met on ground started by his predecessor late President Buhari, he has continued to fund them and they are near completion.

“Takes, Kano Maradi, Zindar Rail Line Projects, these projects and the Kano, Kaduna to Abuja rail line project as well as the Kano, Kaduna, Abuja roads projects together with AKKK Gas Pipelines projects all these are to set to be completed before next year, ” he said.

The DG Presidential Campaign Council pointed out that,this shows that President Tinubu has concerns for every part of Nigeria and means well for the country. He added that soon Nigerians will have peace because security has greatly improved and citizens will begin to feel it soon.

Speaking earlier, the Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf assured Kano’s full support for the reelection of President Bola Tinubu in 2027.

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf represented by his deputy Alhaji Murtala Sule Gari said that Kano State has benefitted and is still benefiting from the tremendous good governance of the APC government at the centre.

Speaking earlier, Sheikh Qaribullah Nasiru Kabara, the leader of the Qadiriyya Sect, promised their full support for President Tinubu’s continuity in office.

He called on all Nigerians to keep on praying for peace in the country especially at this time that election is approaching.
