Women To Promote Tinubu’s Achievements Nationwide

A group, Women of Influence for Tinubu 2027, has launched a nationwide mobilisation promote the achievements of President Bola Tinubu.

This is aimed at rallying women across Nigeria behind President Tinubu to win the 2027 presidential election.

The group said it would deploy its networks, platforms and influence in the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to promote the achievements of the Tinubu administration and canvass support for the continuation of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

The national convener of the organisation, Hauwa Farouk Ibrahim, disclosed this at a press conference in Kano.

Ibrahim said the group was bringing together women from different professions, communities and backgrounds to play a more active role in the political process.

“We proudly support His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, because we believe in his vision for a stronger, more prosperous and more united Nigeria under the Renewed Hope Agenda,” she said.

The convener said the mobilisation would focus on communicating what she described as the administration’s achievements in infrastructure, education, healthcare, agriculture, youth development, housing and economic reforms.

She specifically cited road and rail projects, saying the investments were designed to improve transportation, strengthen connectivity between communities and support economic activities.

Ibrahim also pointed to the Nigerian Education Loan Fund as part of the administration’s human capital development initiatives, saying it was expanding opportunities for Nigerian students to access higher education.

On housing, she said government programmes were aimed at expanding access to accommodation while creating jobs and stimulating economic activity.

The group also backed the administration’s energy and petroleum sector reforms.

“We also support the administration’s efforts to strengthen Nigeria’s energy and petroleum sector, particularly the development of domestic refining capacity and initiatives such as CNG, which provide alternative energy and transportation opportunities for Nigerians,” Ibrahim said.

She said the group would also highlight the government’s economic reforms, agricultural initiatives and programmes targeting young Nigerians through skills development, entrepreneurship, digital innovation and employment.

But beyond selling government programmes, Ibrahim said the organisation would seek to turn women’s social and community influence into greater participation in politics and public affairs.

“As women, we are particularly committed to ensuring that women are active participants in Nigeria’s political and national development,” she said.

“We believe Nigerian women possess enormous influence through their families, professions, businesses, communities, media platforms and social networks.

“When women come together with purpose, their voices can make a significant contribution to national development.”

The group said its structure would extend beyond Kano, with representation planned across the states and the FCT.

Through its platforms, it said it would promote what it described as constructive engagement, responsible political communication and awareness of government programmes.

It also pledged to encourage more women to participate in politics, leadership and public affairs.

Ibrahim said the group’s decision to mobilise for Tinubu was rooted in its belief in his leadership and the policies of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

“Our support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is therefore based on our belief in his leadership, his vision for Nigeria and the programmes of the Renewed Hope Agenda,” she said.

As political activities begin to gather momentum ahead of 2027, the convener said the women’s group was prepared to take its campaign to communities across the country.

“As we look towards 2027, we stand together as women who believe in the progress of Nigeria and who are committed to contributing our voices, energy, skills and influence towards the continuation of the Renewed Hope Agenda,” she said.

“This is only the beginning.

“Women of Influence for Tinubu 2027 is ready to work, ready to engage and ready to contribute.”
