England produced a devastating attacking display as they dismantled Croatia 7-0 in the UEFA Nations League on Saturday, with Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka scoring twice each.
The Three Lions took complete control of the League A Group 3 encounter from the opening stages, racing into a four-goal lead before half-time.
Kane opened the scoring after just eight minutes, finishing a move created by Jude Bellingham to give England an early advantage.
Bellingham then doubled the lead in the 21st minute, converting after being set up by Anthony Gordon.
Gordon joined the goalscoring party in the 39th minute, making it 3-0 after an assist from Jarell Quansah.
England were not finished before the interval, with Saka adding a fourth in the 45th minute following another assist from Bellingham.
England continued their onslaught after the restart, with Kane grabbing his second goal in the 53rd minute after being played through by Elliot Anderson.
Saka then completed his brace in the 68th minute, with Kane providing the assist as England moved six goals clear.
Morgan Rogers completed the rout three minutes from time, scoring England’s seventh after another assist from Bellingham.
Croatia were unable to find a response throughout the contest as England maintained their intensity and punished them repeatedly in front of goal.
The result underlined England’s attacking strength, with Bellingham contributing two assists alongside his first-half goal, while Kane and Saka finished with two goals apiece.
England’s seven-goal demolition leaves them with a commanding result in Group 3, while Croatia were left to reflect on a night to forget.
