The member representing Doguwa/Tudun Wada Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Alhassan Ado Doguwa, has said the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State is now united and ready to work for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.
Doguwa stated this while speaking to his constituents in Doguwa, Kano State, where he said the coming together of political forces that were previously divided had created a stronger platform for the APC to pursue victory in the state.
He said former political opponents in Doguwa and Tudun Wada had now joined the APC, describing the development as an opportunity for members to operate as one family and work towards the success of the party.
Doguwa specifically cited the Doguwa Local Government Chairman, Alhaji Umaru Haruna, retired Air Commodore Salisu Yusuf and the Chairperson of Tudun Wada Local Government, Hajiya Sa’adatu Soja, who is also the chairperson of Kano State ALGON, as among those now operating within the APC fold.
According to him, the political realignment has changed the atmosphere in the constituency, with people who previously belonged to the opposition now working for the success of the APC.
“We have now come of age, and we have also gotten a level playing ground because all of us, both forces in the opposition then and those other huge forces within us now and before, are now converged on one umbrella and on one page,” he said.
