Popular skit maker, Abdulgafar Abiola, also known as Cute Abiola, is currently in a joyous mood as he celebrates a young pilot, Aliu Musa, whom he helped make his dream come true.
Taking to his verified Instagram account, the comedian shared how Musa’s success story began by building aircraft drones from scratch. He noted that he saw something special in the young man and decided to help him.
In his post, which was accompanied by pictures and videos of them together, Abiola noted that Musa has always been passionate about aviation.
He wrote, “That date will always remain special to me. That was the day I met Aliu Musa. @ali.drones_ A young man passionate about aviation, making local drones with his hands and trying to find his way in life. He had the dream, but he didn’t know where that dream would take him.
“I saw something in him. I decided to believe in him, support him and help him take the next step. From making local drones. To pursuing his aviation training. To becoming a private pilot. And now, becoming a commercial pilot.”
Abiola recalled that he introduced the pilot to the governor of Kwara State, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq.
“I also took him to the governor of Kwara State. His Excellency, Gov. Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, is part of this wonderful journey. Thank you, sir.
“Honestly, I can’t fully explain how proud I feel. Looking at his old pictures and seeing where he is today reminds me that sometimes, a dream just needs someone to believe in it.
“Aliu, I am extremely proud of you. And I am proud to stand beside you today and say, “I remember where this journey started.”
This documentary is not about me. It is about Aliu Musa. His journey, his struggles, his determination, his growth and the incredible journey from making drones to flying aircraft. I am ready to tell this success story,” Abiola wrote.
