Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface is pushing for a loan move away from the Bundesliga club during the winter transfer window, according to reports.
Sky Sports reported that the Nigeria international has already told his representatives that he wants to leave Leverkusen in the winter.
The 24-year-old has found regular playing time difficult to secure at the former Bundesliga champions this season.
So far, he has managed only a five-minute appearance for Die Werkself, prompting his desire to seek more minutes elsewhere on a temporary basis.
Boniface’s reported request signals that he is prioritising first-team football as he looks to leave Leverkusen in January.
