Breaking: Bandits Kidnap 2 Farmers In Fresh Kaduna Attack

Bandits have kidnapped two farmers from their farm in Assako 1 community, Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State, after invading the area and shooting sporadically on Sunday morning.

The village head of Assako 1, Ali Na, Allah, confirmed the incident to LEADERSHIP, saying the attackers arrived in the community on motorcycles between 9am and 10am.

According to the village head, the bandits began shooting sporadically shortly after arriving in the community, triggering panic among residents.

He said the attack forced some villagers, including worshippers attending church services, to flee for safety.

The village head added that the attackers abducted two men from their farm during the invasion.

The whereabouts of the two farmers remained unknown at the time of filing this report.

Efforts to obtain the police’s reaction to the incident proved abortive, as the Kaduna State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, DSP Mansir Hassan, did not respond to several phone calls.
