The coalition, founded by the minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Chief Nyesom Wike, is made up of prominent members of the Action Alliance (AA), the All Progressives Congress (APC), the Labour Party (LP) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The unveiling ceremony, according to reports on electronic media, is expected to kick-off by 10:00am at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium, Port Harcourt.

Speaking to LEADERSHIP on Sunday, the coalition’s spokesman, Hon. Chibike Ikenga, said the event was aimed at mobilizing more support for President Bola Tinubu ahead of the election.

“What you will continue to see is that the fact that that the amalgam that is called Rainbow Coalition is coming publicly to show the endorsement of the candidates across those parties that have become part of Rainbow Coalition for unity, progress, peaceful and credible election in Rivers State.

“That is what we are trying to do. We will ask our supporters to vote for them beginning from President Bola Tinubu down to the House of Assembly members
