Tinubu Taking Difficult Decisions To Salvage Nigeria’s Economy – Kano Gov

Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf, has urged Nigerians to re-elect President Bola Tinubu in 2027, describing him as a leader with sincerity of purpose who is taking difficult decisions to rescue the country’s economy.

Yusuf said Tinubu’s economic policies had helped stabilise the nation’s macroeconomic environment, expressing optimism that the benefits would soon translate into improved living conditions for Nigerians.

The governor, represented by his Special Adviser on National and International Relations, Mohammed Jamu, spoke on Wednesday at the inauguration of the All Progressives Congress Presidential, Gubernatorial, Senatorial, House of

Representatives and State House of Assembly Campaign Council for Tarauni Local Government Area of Kano State.

He said, “When it comes to the day of the election, we must all remember that we have the best product as our presidential candidate, and that is Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“A lot of people do not know the sincerity of purpose that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu carries. When you look at the economic policies of his government, he has been able to rescue the economy of this country and stabilise the macroeconomy.”

Yusuf urged party members to sustain reconciliation efforts and remain united ahead of the 2027 elections, while calling on them to support all APC candidates across the state.
He also described the Kano Central senatorial candidate, Ibrahim Shekarau, as an embodiment of humility and sincerity, citing his experience as a former governor and senator.

Earlier, the APC House of Representatives candidate for Tarauni Federal Constituency, Nasir Ja’oji, said he had distributed N125m in cash grants to 2,500 beneficiaries and 100 motorcycles across the constituency’s 10 wards.

Ja’oji also listed interventions in education, healthcare, youth development and infrastructure, pledging to prioritise education, health and economic empowerment if elected.

In his remarks, Shekarau urged members of the campaign council to take their mobilisation to communities across the local government and educate voters on the APC logo and symbols ahead of the elections.

Meanwhile, Sadiq Shugaba was inaugurated as the Director-General of the Tarauni campaign council.
