This group also called on the Presidential Candidate to look inwards to ascertain what he might have done wrong to necessitate the negative perception of Nigerians to his presidential bid.

This is contained in a statement issued by its national co-ordinator, Bar. Abdulwahab Kabir Magaji, on Tuesday in Kaduna.

In the statement, Magaji cautioned Tinubu with a call on him not to jeopardize existing peace in the country, saying the call became necessary to starve tension in the country.

He said, “We are using this opportunity to call on our brother, Asiwaju, to cease hostility to the president and the entire North.

“We are calling on him to exercise the required restraint of an elder statesman while pursuing his ambition”.

Magaji added that rather than blame the president, the North and the cabal for his woes, it is imperative that Asiwaju should look inwards to ascertain whatever he had done wrong.

He continued: “To us, this will serve him better and when than looking for real and imaginary enemies that don’t exist.

“His plan to incite thesouth west against the north won’t rather he should carry his cross by himself and leave the people.”
