The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) says 3,680 persons with disabilities across six clusters in Benue State have collected their PVCs and are ready to cast their votes today.

The chairman, Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities Benue State chapter, Bem Anshe, who disclosed this during a media briefing in Makurdi, named the clusters to include people with visual impairment, hearing impairment, physically challenged, leprosy survivors and spinal cord injury survivors.

According to Anshe, 7,265 persons with disabilities were registered for the elections, and 3,680 were able to collect their Permanent Voters Cards.

He urged INEC to improve on sensitisation and awareness creation in subsequent elections to enable all members of the association to know what they supposed to do, where they are supposed to go and how to go about it.
