APC Wins Gombe, Jigawa, Yobe, Katsina, Kwara, Ogun, Lagos, Reclaims Sokoto, PDP Clears Oyo, Akwa Ibom

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has won the governorship seats in Jigawa, Katsina, Yobe, Kwara, Ogun and Lagos states.

Inuwa Yahaya scored 342, 821 votes to get re-elected as Gombe State governor. 

Mal Buni scored 317, 113 votes to defeat Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s candidate, Sheriff Abdullahi who scored 104, 259 votes.

Babajide Sanwo-Olu scored 762,134 votes to defeat, Mr. Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour of the Labour Party (LP) candidate who garnered 312,329 votes.

The APC has also reclaimed Sokoto State from the PDP, which it technically lost when the incumbent governor, Aminu Tambuwal defected in 2018.
