Yusuf, in a statement yesterday, titled; “Hon. Bago’s victory: A triumph of sense and wisdom- a festival of appreciation and thanks,” said his victory was a glorious triumph of the voters.

Bago emerged governor-elect under the ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the recently concluded governorship election.

He said, “This is a great victory based on the optimism of the overwhelming number of the electorate who agreed that Hon. Mohammed Umar Bago is a man of ideas; a man who is sure to stand with them, a man who will speak to them in the language they will understand.

“Hon. Bago is like a shoulder that carries the burden/luggage of the stressed, the dispirited and the deprived; an uncommon leader, a doubtless compatriot with blood of patriotism, compassion, equity, justice, fairness etc. running in his veins.
