Victor Moses believes Chelsea still have something to play for the Champions League despite their current situation in the English Premier League.

Chelsea were beaten 1-0 by relegation-threatened Wolves on Saturday, with the result leaving them 11th in the league, sitting closer to relegation than the top four.

Moses, who was on Chelsea’s book for 11 years said, the club can’t afford to give in, stating that they can still rescue the campaign by winning the Champions League.

“Certainly. But that’s football. Now the club must draw conclusions and rebuild for the new season,” the Nigerian international told Spartak Moscow official website.

“Although, the current one can still be saved because there are matches with Real Madrid in the Champions League ahead,” he added.

Chelsea will face Real Madrid in the first-leg Champions League quarter-final match this week.
