Former deputy governor of Lagos State Alhaja Senatu Ojikutu has alleged that her life is being threatened by some politicians for not supporting the president-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, during the last general election.

Briefing the press in Lagos, Ojikutu who said she supported the Labour Party candidate Peter Obi for the  position, noted that she did so for equity, justice.

She said, “More so that, if we claim we are one united Nigeria, It should reflect in our character and attitude, and so the Igbo also should be  given the opportunity to rule Nigeria.”

Ojikutu said after the election, she has been subjected to different forms of harassment, intimidation and all forms of humiliation, even at places where she deserved honour and respect.

Ojikutu said she had vowed to renounce her nationality of Nigeria and relocate to another country where she can live peacefully, if Tinubu wins the presidential election.

“I have vowed that if Bola Tinubu wins the presidential election, I have threatened to renounce my citizenship of Nigeria. I am personally endangered, ostracised, I have been humiliated where I should be honoured,” she said.
