Three people have been confirmed dead in an accident involving two articulated trucks in Ibadan, Oyo State.
LEADERSHIP Friday gathered that the accident occurred in the Boluwaji area of the Ibadan-Lagos Expressway, Ibadan.
Eyewitness said a truck with commercial plate number, GGE-598XE was driving against traffic and had a head-on collision with an incoming trailer belonging to the Dangote Group, resulting in the instant death of three persons, while one person was severely injured.
He said the injured person was instantly moved to the hospital with the help of passers-by and OYRTMA Officials.
As of the time of filing this report families of the deceased were at the scene to identify and recover remains of those that lost their lives.
