A traditional title holder in Funtua local government area of Katsina State, Alhaji Abdulaziz Garba Gogo (Dan Malikin Yarbawa), has congratulated the Sarkin Maskan Katsina and District Head of Funtua, Alh. Sambo Idris Sambo, on his 25th year coronation anniversary (Silver Jubilee) penultimate weekend.
Gogo also felicitated with a retired federal civil servant and renowned farmer in Funtua, Alhaji Rabiu Ahmadu Dan Koli, over his turbaning as Sarkin Moman Funtua, and Alhaji Dan’Azumi, over his turbaning as the Magatakardan Funtua.
The Yoruba elder, who paid glowing tributes to the Sarkin Maska for being a father for all, therefore, wished the Funtua traditional ruler and title-holders long reign and prosperity in their given responsibilities.
“On behalf of my entire family, I am congratulating His Royal Majesty, Sarkin Maskan Katsina, Hakimin Funtua, Alh Sambo Idris Sambo, over his 25th year anniversary on the throne and for the coronation ceremony of Alhaji Rabiu Ahmadu Dan Koli as Sarkin Noman Funtua, and Alhaji Dan Azumin, Secretary of Sarkin Maska, as Magatakardan Funtua.
“I wish Sarkin Maska and all the traditional title-holders long life and prosperity. Kabiyeesi o, Sarkin Maska Baba gbogbowa ni Funtua,” Gogo stated.
